About
Hello, I'm Mollyn.

Welcome to Kwanamo Well. I'm so glad you're here.
I started this little corner of the internet because I kept noticing the same thing: the moments when I felt most like myself were rarely the busy ones. They were early mornings by a campfire, the bracing seconds of cold water, the slow quiet of a warm sauna. [PLACEHOLDER: add a sentence about the moment or season of life that led you here.]
I live in [PLACEHOLDER: your town or region] with [PLACEHOLDER: family, spouse, kids, pets]. By day I [PLACEHOLDER: your work or calling], and whenever I can, I'm outside, usually somewhere with tall trees and no cell signal.
What I believe about wellness
I don't think wellness is a trend or a product. I think it is a rhythm: rest and effort, warmth and cold, time with people and time alone. As a Christian, I believe our bodies are a gift, and caring for them is one small way of saying thank you. My faith shapes how I think about rest: not something I have to earn, but something I'm invited into.
What you'll find here
- Outdoors: camping, simple adventures, and the research behind why nature restores us.
- Cold: cold showers and plunges, approached with care and common sense.
- Heat: sauna rituals, infrared and traditional, for recovery and rest.
I read the studies so you don't have to, and I always link my sources. When I recommend a product, it's because it serves the purpose, not the other way around. Products will change over the years; the purpose won't.
A gentle reminder: I'm not a doctor, and nothing here replaces advice from one. Please check with your healthcare provider before trying cold or heat exposure.
[PLACEHOLDER, optional: The name Kwanamo will also carry a future project of mine, a relocation consultancy at relocation.kwanamo.com, still in the planning stages. More on that someday.]
[PLACEHOLDER: a warm closing line, perhaps a favorite verse.] Thank you for reading. Pull up a chair by the fire.
With warmth,
Mollyn
